Survive Homelander controls are simple to learn but demand precise execution — one wrong key at the wrong moment ends your run. The complete Survive Homelander controls for PC, mobile, and console are listed below, starting with the one that matters most: crouch.

SURVIVOR CONTROLS — PC

Most important control: Ctrl (Crouch). Crouching while stationary makes you completely invisible to Homelander's Super Vision. Learn this before anything else.
KeyActionNotes
Ctrl Crouch / Silent Move Hides you from Super Vision entirely when stationary. Most critical survivor control in the game. Hold it any time the supe is nearby.
WASD Move Standard movement. Running while upright makes you visible during Super Vision — combine with Ctrl when moving near the supe.
Shift Sprint Fast but fully visible and loud. Use only when Homelander is confirmed far away or you need to change floors quickly.
Space Jump Use sparingly — jumping creates noise. Avoid jumping while Homelander is on your floor.
F/Click Use Phone / Interact Activates your phone to ping Homelander's last known location for teammates. Also used to interact with objects and Compound V syringes.
Tab View Survivors Opens the survivor list showing who is still alive. Use to track remaining teammates and gauge how the match is progressing.
E Interact Secondary interact key for some objects. Picks up Compound V syringes and activates certain environmental items.

SUPE CONTROLS — PC

KeyActionNotes
WASD Move / Fly Direction Standard movement on the ground. While airborne, steers the supe in flight.
Space Fly / Ascend Hold to take flight or ascend while airborne. Release to begin descending. Flight is the fastest way to cover the map between floors.
Shift Sprint / Fly Speed Increases movement speed on foot or acceleration while in flight.
Left Click Primary Attack Homelander: Heat Vision laser. Stormfront: Electric blast. A-Train: Speed strike. Aim at a survivor and fire.
E Super Vision / Special Homelander: activates Super Vision wall scan. Stormfront / A-Train: activates their unique special ability. Has a cooldown between uses.
Right Click/Q Secondary Ability Varies by supe — used for melee choke, secondary ability, or ability targeting mode. Check the in-game ability panel for your current supe.
F Interact / Ability 3 Activates the supe's third ability slot if available. Check your equipped supe's ability UI in the lobby before your match.
Supe tip: As Homelander, alternate between Super Vision sweeps and movement. Activate Super Vision, mark any moving survivors, then reposition to cut off their escape before they can crouch and hide.

MOBILE CONTROLS

The Survive Homelander controls on mobile use Roblox's standard on-screen button layout. All the same mechanics apply — crouching is just as essential on mobile as on PC. Every Survive Homelander control for survivors works the same on touch; tap and hold Crouch the moment you hear the supe activating Super Vision.

Left Joystick
Bottom-left of screen
Move your character in all directions. Tilt gently for slow crouch-walk, fully for running speed.
Crouch Button
Right side of screen
Tap to toggle crouch. Most critical button in the game — hold whenever the supe is nearby to stay invisible to Super Vision.
Jump Button
Right side of screen
Tap to jump. Use sparingly — creates noise that can reveal your position.
Phone Button
Right side of screen
Tap to use your phone and ping Homelander's location to teammates. Works the same as F on PC.
Interact Button
Appears near objects
Appears when you are near interactable objects or Compound V syringes. Tap to pick up or activate.
Jump + Fly (Supe)
Right side — hold Jump
As a supe, hold the Jump button to take flight. Steer with the left joystick while airborne.
Mobile tip: Mobile players often struggle with the crouch response time. Practice tapping the crouch button immediately when you hear the Super Vision audio cue — the window to hide is about 1–2 seconds before the scan reveals you.

THE CROUCH MECHANIC EXPLAINED

Crouching is the single most important mechanic in Survive Homelander. Among all Survive Homelander controls, the crouch key has the highest impact on survival. When you hold Ctrl (PC) or tap the Crouch button (mobile/console), your character lowers their profile and moves silently. More importantly, a crouching, stationary survivor is completely invisible to Homelander's Super Vision — the wall-scanning ability that would otherwise reveal you through any cover.

The correct crouch response is: the moment you hear the Super Vision activation audio cue — a distinct sound that plays before the scan begins — press Ctrl and stop moving immediately. Do not slow down gradually. Do not try to reach a better hiding spot. Stop in place and crouch. Even one step while the scan is active can reveal your position to Homelander through the wall.

Crouch-Walking

You can move while crouching by holding Ctrl and pressing WASD simultaneously. Crouch-walking is slower than running but keeps you silent and invisible to Super Vision. Experienced players crouch-walk the entire time Homelander is on their floor rather than only crouching when they hear a scan. This eliminates the reaction-time risk entirely.

Common Crouch Mistakes

Releasing Ctrl too early — Homelander often activates Super Vision twice in quick succession to catch survivors who relax after the first scan. Wait two seconds after you hear the scan end before moving again.

Crouching but still moving — Moving slowly while crouching in an open area can still be detectable, especially at close range. In exposed locations, full stop is safer than crouch-walking.

Jumping before crouching — New players often jump trying to reach cover faster, then try to crouch mid-air. Jumping is not silent. Crouch first, move second.

The Survive Homelander controls for PC: WASD to move, Ctrl to crouch (the most important Survive Homelander control — hides you from Super Vision), Shift to sprint, Space to jump, F or click to use phone and interact, Tab to see remaining survivors. Supe Survive Homelander controls: Space to fly, Left Click to attack, E for Super Vision.

On PC: hold Ctrl. On mobile: tap and hold the Crouch button on the right side of the screen. On console: press R3 (click the right stick). Crouching while completely stationary makes you invisible to Super Vision — it is the most critical survival mechanic in the game.

The Survive Homelander controls for supe flight: hold Space to take off and ascend, WASD to steer while airborne, Shift to accelerate, release Space to descend. On mobile, hold the Jump button to fly. The Survive Homelander controls for flight are the same across Homelander, Stormfront, and A-Train.

As Homelander, press E to activate Super Vision. This scans through all walls in a radius and highlights any survivor who is moving or standing upright. Crouched, stationary survivors are invisible to the scan. Super Vision has a cooldown — use it strategically after cornering survivors or when you hear movement nearby.

On mobile, use the left joystick to move, the on-screen Crouch button (right side) to hide from Super Vision, the Phone button to ping Homelander for teammates, and the Jump button for jumping. All the same survival mechanics apply — crouching when you hear Super Vision activate is just as critical on mobile as on PC.
